Der Schwimmteich wurde in das Trockental eines sporadischen Baches ( Wadi ) eingebettet.
Da das Gelände nicht mit Baumaschinen erreichbar war, übernahm der Bauherr persönlich den händischen Aushub , einen grossen Teil der Betonarbeiten und leitete den nur selten Wasser führenden Bach um.
