Planning began in 2018, and the execution was carried out by the client itself in 2021. The swimming pond, which is designed for a maximum of 20 bathers per day, was calculated in accordance with the German FLL guidelines for public swimming ponds. The desired water quality and hygiene are ensured with the help of a slow-flow gravel filter in combination with a 2.5 m deep regeneration area with native aquatic plants and supported by a biofilm reactor. In the cooler months, the biopool is heated with solar energy and a heat pump.
